Jeff and Kyra had an intimate wedding ceremony at one of Portland’s gems, Portland Lan Su Classical Chinese Garden, followed by a colorful reception at the Departure Restaurant at the Nines Hotel in Portland. I joined them for portraits at the Portland Chinese Gardens and photographed the beginning of the reception. Short and sweet
Asian themes were plenty for the day, with red colors parasol and shoes!

Ann Marie and Kevin had a special yellow theme wedding at Mississippi Studios and McMenamins Edgefield. They even had a contest called “Lemon Symbolism Contest”! Other highlights include special postcards and personalized stamps for their friends to mail them postcards, yellow shoes, yellow rain boots, beer pint glasses as favors, and one of the most beautiful cakes ever - a McMenamins Edgefield themed cake, with rabbits!

I had the honor of photographing Dariush’s very special Bar Mitzvah day at Congregation Beth Israel. It was a beautiful day!The morning started with portraits, and touching service and then a lunch reception. The evening reception was at the elegant The Nines Hotel ballroom. Cindy Thompson Productions did a fantastic job with decor and organization. No detail was spared. Beautiful flowers were by Page Winograd of Vibrant Table Flowers. There were deserts (eclairs, creme brulee etc ), magician, air hockey, t-shirt printing station, photo booth (the ever so awesome Paparazzi Tonight), and then the surprise of the night, a belly dancer who performed a beautiful routine with a sword! And then dancing!! A shout out to Nines Hotel catering - the food, both for youngsters and adults, was delicious and beautifully arranged.
