We found a sweet trail in the woods of Forest Park to take Rashree and Anthony to. The rain was coming down a bit more than we like so we headed to the Nines Hotel to capture some great images of the two in one of their favorite spots.

We had a blast on Portland’s South East waterfront near OMSI. There was even a cool Portland Fire Department boat docked on the pier, we just had to get a photo with it! That area is so cool, especially the industrial area with all the warehouses and train tracks!

We met up with Samantha and Kevin and decided to stay out of the rain in Portland’s finest hotels. We went by the Hotel Deluxe and captured their classic Hollywood beauty. Then off across town to the Nines Hotel to capture some modern beauty. The rain let up just enough to go by the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall and get a classic Portland shot.

We had a chance to hit the waterfront right after the Rose Festival, it was nice to have the whole place to ourselves after such a busy week. Portland never runs out of cool locations for photos!

We had a lot of fun hanging out with Felisha and Chris the other day shooting their engagement photos on the Portland waterfront. From there the views of the city are breathtaking and the perfect place for romance.

I got the opportunity to photograph Monica and Matt’s engagement photos in the beautiful Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden in Southeast Portland. We had the park, which was in full bloom to ourselves it seemed, other than all the ducks and geese.
Monica and Matt’s will have a Puerto Vallarta wedding in Mexico and I am super excited to go back!
One funny moment occurred when two geese decided that they weren’t going to let us walk along the path near the pond. They put up a good argument with their hissing, but they finally decided to move along once they saw the size difference.

I had a lot of fun photographing Tiffany and Thomas’ engagement photos. We went to several cool locations downtown like Hotel DeLuxe and the Hotel Lucia. Engagement photos have been taking up a lot of our early spring, which has been a totally great way to get to know our clients better and make some awesome photos!

We’ve been photographing our lovely couples engagement sessions lately in this beautiful spring weather. This is Michelle and Brian, an awesome couple that we’ll have the honor of capturing their wedding day very soon. But first some fun on the waterfront, and a little romance.
