Kelli and Tom’s wedding ceremony had couple firsts for me! Kelli picked up her flowers at the farmer’s market that morning and got ready at Inn at Northrup Station, and then held their ceremony at the Laurelhurst Park. Public parks are great and inexpensive way to have a wedding at a beautiful location! Since the park is open to public we had joggers and bicyclest passing by and also cheers from a nearby family BBQ when Kelli and Tom shared their first kiss! The reception was at Bridgeport Brewery, a very classy looking place and the staff was very friendly! I have been Bridgeport Brewery for drinks in the past, and it is such a relaxing atmosphere for a Portland style wedding!

Katie and Tyler’s wedding was full of energy. One of the most touching moments was when Tyler sang for Katie at the ceremony. Just a perfect beautiful day, at a great setting with great flowers and decorations, by Geranium Lake flowers.
Here is a small selection of photos from their wedding:

This was a very fun event at two great locations - Church in the Woods and Treasury Ballroom. After their original photographer had to cancel on them, Catharine and Ivan gave us a call. We were very happy that we had a chance to work with them as my associate did a great job (no surprise there) and came up with wonderful images. Here is a small sample, below. For the full set, please click here (password required). One of the cool ideas they had for their wedding was a “Cotillion” dance – Blush Bridal passed out hats and masks to everyone (Special hats for Bride, Groom and Parents). You can see some of it towards the end!

Here are some photographs from Halle and Todd’s wedding at Wine Country Farm. They had a lot of unique touches. Halle had secretly ordered hand carved chairs with their name engraved for Todd as a present. They had cupcakes instead of a wedding cake. It was a beautiful Oregon Wine Country wedding!
More and more people are using cupcakes as their wedding cake. The Saint Cupcakes are so amazing!!

Shake it like a polaroid picture!

This was my first time at Edgefield this year, for Kim and Chris. Some years I do 7-8 weddings there and sometimes just 1-2.
We had a really really fun time with Kim and Chris at the wedding! The ceremony was great with DJ’s officiating, and some great speeches as well.
here is a quick sneak peek, straight out of camera. I am keeping most of my favorites for the full edit

Here is a quick sneak peek at Vada and Geoff’s wedding reception at Acadian Ballroom.
One of the more interesting parts of the wedding day was how it ended:

Don’t worry, nobody was hurt seriously. Not sure how an accident on Alberta can be so forceful to turn an SUV on it’s side but that was the scene in front of the ballroom!
