Darcey and Ben had a little rainy but colorful Astoria wedding at the Loft at The Red Building (and their own residence!) photographed by my associate, Arin. There were many cute touches at this Oregon coast wedding. Darcey got Ben custom cufflinks that had their dogs on them as wedding present. Ben returned the favor with perpetual subscription to StarDate magazine. And they also had a doggie ring bearer!
Their wedding favors were Thundermuck Coffee. Astoria is a beautiful place at the Oregon coast and we were lucky enough to take our clients to an Astoria beach, despite the rain!
The hair and make up is by Azure salon and catering was by Bridgewater Bistro.

This was a beautiful day! There was a little bit of rain, but it didn’t take away from the beautiful setting and the enthusiasm of the wedding at all! Mike even got his wish and got a cupcake for his wedding cake! There was tons of great dancing, and beautiful light made it even more fun to watch!

Gina and Austin had their wedding at a beautiful vineyard overlooking the vineyard and the hills of Hillsboro. They had a bit of an “Oregon” wedding with a slight downpour, but they were troopers! Gina even picked up some galoshes from Fred Meyer right before the ceremony. Gina’s sister helped out by making the wedding cake, which looked awesome.

Janna and Giovanni came out to the West coast to celebrate their wedding at the Heceta Head Lighthouse. The setting was amazing, especially with the dramatic clouds and the natural beauty of the Oregon coast. There was a lot of dancing and amazing food prepared by the staff of the Bed and Breakfast.

Here is our first photo of the day!
I shot Karen and Rick’s wedding at the beautiful Abernethy Center in Oregon City over a Memorial Day weekend! The day was a bit rainy, but when the rain took a little break, we went outside to do their romantic pictures. I spotted this beautiful old red Chevrolet truck and steam coming out of the vent. I immediately realized the beautiful matching of the truck, their umbrella and her bouquet. This is one of my favorite images.

Amy and Brian, with assistance of their dogs, tied the knot at the Camp Colton Chapel. The day started really nice but then rain moved in just about the the time for ceremony (you can see the original outdoor set up below). The staff at Camp Colton quickly moved the whole party indoor to the Chapel - kudos! You can see the downpour at the last photo!
