I had the opportunity to shoot Alaina and Bill’s intimate wedding at Vancouver’s The Grant House at the Officer’s Row. It is a beautiful building for an intimate wedding. Even though it was a shorter coverage for me, we still had some awesome photos! It was a very rainy day in the winter, but weather permitted us to get out and get some quick shots at one point as well! I also have to mention the beautiful and tasty cupcakes made by one of bride and groom’s friends!

It was a rainy and stormy day in Oregon that day - but the sun shined just enough for Brenda and Jimmy and we were able to do some outside shots at Camp Colton! Brenda and Jimmy are one of the nicest couples I met, and the day was as sweet as they were. They had an awesome candy bar which never hurts!

Felisha and Chris’ elegant Garden Vineyards wedding was featured in Style Me Pretty blog! It was a gorgeous Portland, Oregon vineyard wedding and we are very proud to have this elegant wedding featured in internet’s most popular wedding blog! Kudos to Garden Vineyards and Vibrant Table for creating such an amazing event!

Debbie and Mike had their fall time wedding at the Genoa Restaurant in Portland. The fall tree colors were on display! The weather cooperated just enough to get some great outdoor shots!
Genoa Restaurant is a very elegant, beautiful and intimate setting. It was decorated exquisitely. Mike and Debbie, being foodies, wanted a more casual reception, so they opted for a lot of smaller appetizer style presentation. Jules with Another Perfect Production ran the festivities expertly.

Jackie and Scott had a beautiful wedding at Mt Hood Bed and Breakfast. Scott, a fellow Duke grad and Jackie, the beautiful bride, compliment each other perfectly. I also have to give kudos to them on their choice of wine, Domaine Drouhin 2006 Laurene Pinot Noiris my favorite wine and the other local wines served were excellent as well. The wedding went well awesome, thanks to expert wedding day coordinatio by Molli Barss of Soiree event planning. Jackie and Scott had a beautifully choreographed routine to their first dance - this is something I recommend to all my couples! The dance floor was insanely packed, which was due to the band, Free Rain! The bride and groom left the wedding in a beautiful classic car!

I was honored to be invited to the launch party for the National Association of Catering Executives. The event was at The Nines Hotel, and it was a blast. Nines Hotel was a beautiful backdrop (I can’t wait to shoot another Nines Hotel Wedding!). The cocktails and food were out of this world, and the rooftop was beautiful. I ran into many of the top vendors in Portland, it was great to catch up! Below are couple pictures with my point and shot (a Canon SD870, one of the best P&S’s in my opinion).

Cathy and Ahmed were married on the beautiful patio overlooking the vineyards of the Northwest Viticulture Center. Cathy’s sister, a florist and owner of Rhyme and Reason in Salem, Oregon, beautifully decorated the entire venue with stunning arrangements. The undergoing theme of the wedding was Casablanca, which was projected on screens in the reception area. Casablanca took place in Morocco, Ahmed’s native country. Cathy and Ahmed loved getting their photos taken, so we got to shoot in many locations on the vineyard.
Some of the cool highlights: river stones with words on them to make poems, home brewed beer (it was good!)
Ceremony Location: Chemeketa Eola
Baker: Papa Haydn
Florist: Rhyme and Reason
Videographer: Lights in the Attic
