WPJA - Wedding Photojournalist Association is the most popular organization for photojournalistic wedding photographers. The members are the best in the world in photojournalistic style of shooting. Each year they do 4 contests. There are thousands of images entered into each category by the world’s top photographers. So I am very excited and proud to announce that I was awarded first place in 4 categories. In addition, I received one more top ten and two top twenty awards. I think nobody has ever placed more than 2 first place winners in the same contest. What a great way to finish of my day after an awesome wedding shoot. I will post the winning images and more later since my internet connection is pretty limited here.

I just shot an awesome wedding in Ixtapa! We almost did a skydive with the groom to the ceremony but decided against it due to logistic issues. I was shooting some photos of them on jet ski and then did some more at the beach. Check this one of me shooting (taken by my talented assistant Arian):
