Karen and James drove down from Seattle to get their engagement pictures taken. They are getting married at Edgefield Attic and we are very excited to shoot their wedding!
We love doing engagement sessions. It gives us a chance to get to know our couples. It is also really beneficial to our couples because they get to know us, and get used to being photographed.

One of the things I found as a photographer and a guest of weddings is that people are much more natural when they are not posing for “posed” photos but just being silly and being themselves. To let guests have some fun photos and show off their fun side, we decided to offer a photobooth for weddings (or any party!). The idea is simple: bring a cool lighting set up, and let people pose themselves! I think a photobooth (or portrait station) is a great way to spice up things a little bit.
The other good part - you do not have to have us be the main photographer for your event. So if your photographer does not offer this service and you want a photo booth rental, come talk to us!

I wanted to post some of the recent maternity pictures I did here in Portland, Oregon. I love how artistic and unique they turn out. I think pregnancy is a beautiful thing and I strive to capture this beauty and emotional connection. I strongly recommend all pregnant women to document this unique time in their life. I had the pleasure of shooting portraits for Amy and Matt after their wedding at Mazatlan for their Day After Session. We drove all over town and got some great portraits! Recently we joined Lauren and Channing (of Portland Trailblazers) for a fun and romantic engagement session at their home along the Willamette River and down into the neighborhood and near the river. Of course, their two bulldogs (American and British bulldogs) joined us for the shoot as well - who can say no to these cute pups! We’ll be shooting their wedding later this summer.

Teri and Andrew joined us last week for their engagement session that took place at the historical Irving Park, in NE Portland. Their wedding will be later this month at the gorgeous St. Patrick Cathedral located in NW Portland and Kell’s Irish Pub, downtown Portland.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Gabby and Andrea over the years and when the chance came up to do portraits with them at the beach, and I was available, I was very happy!
I lost one of my Alien Bee’s Cybersync’s to the ocean, but it was worth it! We picked a cool beach, and did some beach portraits with the waves crashing at Puerto Vallarta!
