This is the second snow covered wedding this year for us. Though it was a snow storm outside at Timberline Lodge (ceremony and reception at Raven’s Nest) and Mt Hood only made very few appearances, and here were giant icicles, the couple and their guests had a fantastic time, thanks to wonderful food and service from Timberline Lodge, and great music from Dancehall Days band. The couple rented the snow cat and we went all the way to Silcox Hut. Though it was super cold and super windy, they braved the cold and we got some unique photos! The snow cat ride was quite a fun experience and the driver was really nice to stop whenever we needed. The skiers made for interesting candid opportunities and the sideways flying snow created beautiful foreground. The bride had given super warm wool socks from Pendleton to the bridal party. We did the first look right outside at the patio, and had to be quite careful about the very large icicles (see the photos!).
The after ceremony cocktail hour was at the main floor of the Timberline Lodge. There was a live music trio, and appetizers. Jeff and Kelley made a lovely first entrance. No Jewish wedding is complete without Hora, and it was a super fun one. Cupcakes were provided for the guests. End of the night pizza was served for late night snacks. Special thanks to lovely and creative flowers from Crystal Lilies and wonderful make up by Blossom and Beauty. Enjoy the pictures!
