I had the pleasure of photographing a very elegantly choreographed 50’s costume birthday party! The decor was by Peter Corvallis Productions, and catering was by
Art of Catering. They both did a tremendous job! My favorite was the stage that was made to look like an old fashioned TV set! Great job!

Rachel and Carlos were married at McMenamins Edgefield, one of our favorite places to shoot weddings. It also happened to be quite a windy day as well, with one of the trees by the old red water tower snapping like a toothpick. Rachel had a beautiful handmade dress by Cicada Designs in Seattle for her big day, and Carlos had a tie made from an unused portion of the same fabric, they looked great together.

Teri and Andrew joined us last week for their engagement session that took place at the historical Irving Park, in NE Portland. Their wedding will be later this month at the gorgeous St. Patrick Cathedral located in NW Portland and Kell’s Irish Pub, downtown Portland.

I was hoping to attend the ball when the phone rang and I was invited to cover this event at the beautiful Tiffany Center! What a coincidence! The decorations at the Tiffany Center Crystal Ballroom was by FireWorks! events. I have done couple weddings there before, but this was my first non-wedding event. As a bonus, Stolen Sweets were playing so I had a chance to practice my swing dancing! In addition, BodyVox dance company did a great performance on the stage!

My friend Joe sent me this - it is the story of an object, located thousands of miles away.
An amazing gift
Here are some photos I took from my latest trip to Puerto Rico. I was able to visit San Juan and Vieques. Vieques is one of the most beautiful places ever. The phosphorescent bay is unbelievable. Also, I was able to hike El Yunque Rain Forest and the caves.

Jessica and Kam had an intimate wedding at Edgefield Administrator’s House under a hand made wooden arch created by their parents. Cupcake wedding cakes are all the rage nowadays and some of the best ones I had are from St. Cupcakes. Awesome stuff.
