I had the opportunity to shoot Alaina and Bill’s intimate wedding at Vancouver’s The Grant House at the Officer’s Row. It is a beautiful building for an intimate wedding. Even though it was a shorter coverage for me, we still had some awesome photos! It was a very rainy day in the winter, but weather permitted us to get out and get some quick shots at one point as well! I also have to mention the beautiful and tasty cupcakes made by one of bride and groom’s friends!

Here are some photos from Crystal and David’s wedding at Liberty Theater in Puyallup, Washington. Keep in mind that these are not fully edited, nor they are my favorites - just some samples to share while I am editing the whole wedding!
Thanks Crystal and David - we had a great time at your party!

A new area I am working on is the high school senior portraits. Frankly, the ones I have seen are pretty boring.
I am attaching a photo that I took at my latest senior shoot. Don’t worry - we took plenty of standard poses. Then played around to get some more edgy and fun ones. Hannah was a very fun person to photograph and we got some great stuff.
My approach to high school seniors would be to shoot almost all outdoors - I love available light and natural backgrounds - be it industrial, parks, or sunsets. I especially like using studio lights outdoors. I will post an example of that soon as well.
