Portland Oregon Wedding and Portrait Photographer
Karen and James drove down from Seattle to get their engagement pictures taken. They are getting married at Edgefield Attic and we are very excited to shoot their wedding!
We love doing engagement sessions. It gives us a chance to get to know our couples. It is also really beneficial to our couples because they get to know us, and get used to being photographed.

I had a great time shooting Lance and Anastasia’s engagement portraits at the Reed College in Portland! They are swing dancers as well, so it will be really fun to shoot their wedding!
Pamela and Aaron have a beautiful house with lots of bright colors. They are also a modern couple who appreciates a more unique approach to photography, not just look at the camera and smile.
So when it came to their engagement pictures, I wanted lots of bold color, unique backgrounds and compositions. Lucky for me, Portland has a lot of cool locations for such engagement portraits. Here are some:
Recently we joined Lauren and Channing (of Portland Trailblazers) for a fun and romantic engagement session at their home along the Willamette River and down into the neighborhood and near the river. Of course, their two bulldogs (American and British bulldogs) joined us for the shoot as well - who can say no to these cute pups! We’ll be shooting their wedding later this summer.

Teri and Andrew joined us last week for their engagement session that took place at the historical Irving Park, in NE Portland. Their wedding will be later this month at the gorgeous St. Patrick Cathedral located in NW Portland and Kell’s Irish Pub, downtown Portland.
