Stephanie & Wiley at Abernethy Center!

Here are some quick highlights from Stephanie and Wiley’s wedding at the LDS Brogden Building  and reception following at Abernethy Center in Oregon City! I have never seen a couple that laughs so much! It is contagious. My favorite parts of their wedding include the custom cuff link’s made by Wiley’s relative, and an Italian Soda bar. They also had a very cute video interview about themselves and the bubble send off worked really well!

Molly and Chris’ Wedding at the Abernethy Center in Oregon City

Molly and Chris had their wedding on Abigail’s Garden at the Abernethy Center in Oregon City.   It was a very casual event with lots of great moments!  A few of the best was during the father of the brides speech he mimicked Molly and Chris’ first date at the movies!  Also, Molly’s sister was part of the band that played during the reception, they were great!  One of the funnest things about this job is seeing something new and really unique.  This wedding had two really cool things.  One, was life like bobble head dolls of Molly and Chris, and the second was the grooms cake, a black dragon with a chocolate cake sphere sculpted by Chris’ grandma.  Too cool!

Rashree and Anthony’s Wedding at the Abernethy Center in Oregon City

Rashree and Anthony had their wedding on Abigail’s Garden at the Abernethy Center in Oregon City.  This was such a fun group of people I really had fun capturing their day.  They had an early morning wedding complete with a waffle brunch that was deliciously made by the caterers at Aberenthy Center.  Half way through the reception the ladies in the bridal party changed into beautiful multi-colored sari’s.

Abernethy Center - Photo of The Day

Here is our first photo of the day!

I shot Karen and Rick’s wedding at the beautiful Abernethy Center in Oregon City over a Memorial Day weekend! The day was a bit rainy, but when the rain took a little break, we went outside to do their romantic pictures.  I spotted this beautiful old red Chevrolet truck and steam coming out of the vent. I immediately realized the beautiful matching of the truck, their umbrella and her bouquet. This is one of my favorite images.

The reception and ceremony were at the Abernethy Center, in Oregon City at their newly decorated ceremony location. It was beautiful. The video was by Focal Point Video, a talented video company who were joy to work with as we both respected each other. Sometimes it is not as easy work with other image makers as people tend to block each other but these guys were very nice. Frankly, I prefer being the only image maker but if I will work with others, people like Focal Point and Fan Boy Video (another good video company) make it much easier. The end result is a much better product for the couple as well!

Anyway - Mark and Latosha are actually coworkers from Intel. I met them through another good friend, Matt whose sister’s wedding I shot. They were originally going to have their wedding at Dominican Republic but changed it back to Oregon to be with more family. They got married on the anniversary of the day they met couple years ago.

Both families were so fun! And the dancing rocked too! These are some of my best reception photographs, I think!

Abernethy center was great too - indoor and outdoor locations made life easier.
