I participated in an event organized by EJP Events at the Nines Hotel where wedding professionals stopped by to get their family or headshot pictures taken while the kids had a fun time playing. Event Cosmetics did the make up and couple other photographers participated as well. Here are couple pictures in the blog, and the full set is here.

Autumn and Guy contacted me couple years ago to shoot their wedding. Unfortunately I was already booked. Couple years later, they touched base again for me to take some maternity pictures for them. Here are couple!

Here are some new baby and family portraits. My style is a more artistic, relaxed, capture-the-moment one as opposed to the traditional (boring) mall studio stuff and I am trying a more casual approach to portraits that is designed to capture moments while still making grandma and grandpa happy. Let me know what you think!

I did some portraits of the super cute Gabby, a fantastic 1 year old with great parents! I love taking baby pictures, especially using natural light. I am really not a big fan of the standard studio background portraits because I love capturing children at their natural state.
I am especially in love with vintage looking portraits so that is an area I will be working on that style even more!By the way, I have some great news - my new portrait website is coming online soon with some great shots. To celebrate, I am offering $150 off my portraits. We have very limited spaces available this summer so please contact us to reserve your space!
I will post more from this session in couple days, so stay tuned.

While I was in Istanbul, I wanted to do some bridal shots that feature this beautiful old city.
I used some connections and met with a model and a fashion house. The gowns and dresses are from Catwalk Moda Evi on Bagdat Street in Istanbul, model is Arzu Yonak (who is available for photo shoots in USA as well as Turkey), and hair and make up is by Ece. It was fun to go around in historic Istanbul and get some fun shots. I had very limited equipment with me for this shoot but I am very pleased with the results. We went to Aya Sofya (Hagia Sofia), Bogazici (Bosphorus), and Ortakoy areas, as well as the castles (”surlar” area). Here are the pictures from my Istanbul shoot:

Rebecca wanted some more shots of her with her wedding dress but in a more relaxed setting than her wedding day allowed. So we shot some more portraits of her recently! Here is one:
