Despite the fact that this blog is very wedding heavy, I do a lot of other types of photography as well. Bar Mitzvah’s, band photography, fashion and runway, business and actor headshots and corporate events are just a few. Here is a recent photo shoot with Jenny for her blues band called Blue Hour. It was one of the coldest evenings of the year but Jenny was a trooper! My hands were glued to the metal camera body and took me hours to warm up later. The results are worth it though!

Even though currently we are mostly known for weddings, we do a lot of portraits as well. In fact, this month has been very busy for maternity and baby portraits, along with headshots and even did a model photoshoot. I met Deb at a wedding I was shooting and she retained me to shoot some portraits of her daughter.
Portrait side of my business is really busy right now. I really enjoy working with families and children, and most of my clients find me through the weddings I shoot and word of mouth. I will be releasing my new portrait website soon, so look out for that.
By the way, my wedding clients currently get free sittings for portraits, maternity, new borns etc., so inquire about the details of that!

Dan does some interesting stuff, and though it might not be everyone’s cup of tea (though the $10 wine challenge would appeal to many!), he followed his heart and out of a corporate type of job and into filmmaking like I did couple of years ago. I have great respect for people who follow their hearts and take big risks to do what they love to do.
