Anna and Jan came out from New York to have their wedding in beautiful Hood River, Oregon at the Cathedral Ridge Winery. The winery was a pretty cool place with views of both Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams. As party favors they gave out mason jars filled with fresh blueberries. In the evening the sun sank below the horizon and the lighting became amazing, especially on Mt. Hood.

Michelle and Brian started their day at McMenamins Grand Lodge for their getting ready moments. Their hotels are great, you can spend hours at every McMenamins studying every detail and not see everything. Once we were finished we headed to Elk Cove Vineyards for the ceremony and reception. One gift that the couple received was amazing, it was a family crest made from over 1000 hand folded cranes!

Zenith Vineyard is one of the prettiest places to have a wedding in Oregon. Last vineyard wedding I shot there was completely outdoors, so I was excited to shoot the reception indoors this time. It is such a classy, elegant location. Of course, when you have a fun and photogenic couple, it makes my life easier too! Kyle is a professional soccer player who stole Brittany’s heart years ago. It was great to see their friends from school, from Adidas, and from other walks of life honor the couple at their most special day.

We actually met with Felicia and Mike the night before their wedding to photograph their rehearsal dinner in their home with their friends and family. Well, it was more like a party then a dinner. It was a lot of fun and we got to meet all the guests the night before, so come wedding day we were already part of the circle. Their ceremony and reception were held at Garden Vineyards in Hillsboro, Oregon. We have photographed a lot of weddings at Garden Vineyards, but this was a bit different as Fall had set upon the vineyard and all it’s changes were taking place. There were stunning arrangements of beautiful flowers by Anna Mara Flowers throughout the grounds, which really added that special touch.

Lindsey and Matthew’s wedding at the always beautiful Garden Vineyards in Hillsboro Oregon. The overall event was handled by Jules of Another Perfect Production, and it was spectacular. The flowers were prepared by Quince Events, we were quite taken with their arrangements, it was stunning. At their wedding there was a great mixture of friends and family from all over, including Matthew’s uncle who was also the officiant and partially responsible for the two meeting. The night kicked off with a bang featuring St. Cupcake’s cupcakes for all the guests and dancing with the Pressure Point Band. It was a blast!

Claudia and Noah celebrated their wedding day at the Elk Cove Vineyards in Gaston, Oregon! It was tons of fun. Elk Cove Vineyards is an amazing location, with beautiful scenery. Great flowers and cake was by Vibrant Table! The couple chose three wonderful wines to serve their guests!

Cathy and Ahmed were married on the beautiful patio overlooking the vineyards of the Northwest Viticulture Center. Cathy’s sister, a florist and owner of Rhyme and Reason in Salem, Oregon, beautifully decorated the entire venue with stunning arrangements. The undergoing theme of the wedding was Casablanca, which was projected on screens in the reception area. Casablanca took place in Morocco, Ahmed’s native country. Cathy and Ahmed loved getting their photos taken, so we got to shoot in many locations on the vineyard.
Some of the cool highlights: river stones with words on them to make poems, home brewed beer (it was good!)
