Alex and Shane had a low key and intimate wedding at the Peninsula Park in Portland, Oregon. I love shooting at the Peninsula Park, I used to live nearby and always enjoyed the beauty of it. Peninsula Park was Portland’s first public rose garden and the official rose of Portland, named Mme. Caroline Testout, was cultivated at Peninsula Park. Ok, enough trivia, now to more details.
Alex wore these amazing shoes! I love them. And Shane was like a GQ model. It was strictly family affair and featured some amazing Indian food. Getting ready was at A Painted Inn bed & breakfast, and the reception at their house. The flowers are by Punch and they were beautiful! This was a short coverage but we got great photos!

Tiffany and Glen were married at their beautiful house in the Portland hills. Their house was magnificently transformed into a dream by Vibrant Table, from the flowers and decor to the delicious meal. The event coordination was by talented Cindy Thompson of www.ctevents.biz. They even built an impressive outdoor structure covered to hold the reception in this fall wedding. In order to let more light into the structure the top was clear vinyl, and it turned into a work of art as mother nature decorated it with her fall leaves. It was a great surprise. Once the reception and dancing was over Tiffany, Glen and the guests headed back into the house which was transformed into a night club for the “after party!” complete with an awesome DJ and a photobooth. The trio was the Aeriel Consort.

This was a super fun wedding! The theme was The Shining, of course, this being at the Timberline Lodge. There were so many small touches! The couple are pharmacists so their place holders were medicine bottles, and they had little bits from The Shining at the wedding like a typewriter typing “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”.
During the reception, they showed their spoof video of how Loren proposed to Angela, acting out The Shining the entire time. I love to get a copy of this video!!!
It was freezing outside, but Angela and Loren braved it to get some awesome photos. Angela looked gorgeous in her vintage inspired dress and head piece, while the whole wedding had color red as the theme. Loren has some handsome Converse shoes to match Angela. They had a Matrimony newspaper as a program, a rice ceremony, and a reading of the “The Giving Tree” by Shel Silverstein during the ceremony.
I also think the wedding bouquet was one of the most interesting ones I have ever seen! Add to that, there was even remote attendance to the ceremony with a video conference! Check it out!

Adriane and Scott had a beautiful wedding at Eliot Chapel at First Unitarian Church and reception following at the Portland Embassy Suites. Adriane looked gorgeous in her dress. I am noticing a trend in wedding dresses: pockets!
The couple was walked down the aisle after they were pronounced husband and wife by a bagpiper. The hair pieces by August Veils were very elegant, and Embassy Suites was gorgeously decorated . Another cool idea Adriane had was to throw a gift bouquet - it had cash and gift certificates! Event Cosmetics team did a great job with the hair and make up!

Gina and Austin had their wedding at a beautiful vineyard overlooking the vineyard and the hills of Hillsboro. They had a bit of an “Oregon” wedding with a slight downpour, but they were troopers! Gina even picked up some galoshes from Fred Meyer right before the ceremony. Gina’s sister helped out by making the wedding cake, which looked awesome.

Molly and Chris had their wedding on Abigail’s Garden at the Abernethy Center in Oregon City. It was a very casual event with lots of great moments! A few of the best was during the father of the brides speech he mimicked Molly and Chris’ first date at the movies! Also, Molly’s sister was part of the band that played during the reception, they were great! One of the funnest things about this job is seeing something new and really unique. This wedding had two really cool things. One, was life like bobble head dolls of Molly and Chris, and the second was the grooms cake, a black dragon with a chocolate cake sphere sculpted by Chris’ grandma. Too cool!

Ashley and Mason had a very elegant Oregon wedding at the classy Garden Vineyards. There were a lot of great details, from flowers by Page Winograd from Vibrant Table Flowers, to beautiful place settings, again by Vibrant Table. Misty, from Luxe Productions, ran the show effortlessly. Ashley looked gorgeous in her wedding dress, and Mason and his groomsmen wore very handsome suits. We started the day of wedding at Nines Hotel, doing some getting ready pictures. I had a chance to photograph beautiful Ashley at the Portland Park Blocks, and Mason at the Nines Hotel. We moved to the Garden Vineyards, and continued the day there! There was a beautiful Rolls Royce waiting for them, courtesy of Mr. Ron Tonkin and his wife Marcy , who were also guests at the wedding reception (Mason worked with him).
